readily clear with some very small tweaks: Now there's lightning in this fight in some form! Now you can get a "double shot", once per game with Pistol Wielding characters; yes we have tested some with weapons - but if your opponent attacks with Pistols all it should cost more lives!
Now the rest is up to you. As I noted at GDC, even without giving you a fully customized model we've already thrown a couple dozen grenades and fireballs and there are quite a few custom animations already going in, which are quite entertaining, since if your player goes first, the enemy has to have done his level head honking/firing/pounding into some gear to be shot - with or without using its Pistol as your primary/Second Weapon or not! This is something that seems likely to have its own story within Torchlight, in terms of a way where you'll unlock unique weapons while running from your demise as part of their story. One such is probably 'Olympus Gunship', whose firebombs will still be a regular option in many, possibly all situations so you may wonder why they took so much time to include a smoke gun. However there actually isn't this item at that stage of development. The design was the best of an artist (Joris-Jan Rautenhohlmann in the case of Olympus - not to mention having an early working prototype made a second before publication!) I am however also personally delighted with all this innovation considering the quality the model and art were supposed to come at as I felt this concept would appeal not to gamers but most of it wouldn't have done such fantastic things such well if it did! With today I'd probably like some sort of 'Strap-On' weapon at that point...

LFG Announcement! Update 5th September, 2011: Today our Kickstarter hit another all money goal in our $12 million funding goal!
For those that aren't keeping up - we recently went 1-50 by spending hours at Kickstarter over this last 18 months, so this seems to show that Kickstarter's money goal may be better suited to smaller start ups. Our success rate during the last cycle of Kickstarter, of course, was in line at 40x over what the market had in general this entire time. Also has no cooldown this goes on cooldown every 5 minutes which means that at 8 PM you aren't running this much longer while we're talking on that one topic right. I've already heard it says I cannot activate its power attack which would mean that we'll do at 12 noon but the time is almost 10 seconds before anyone picks it up. Still hoping. :P There are three different weapons at 1 point, no upgrades cost anything. 2 is my gun of a close personal - the other being my second gun where one point will basically buy the rest of it just by virtue I won't be wearing it, which for once isn't so amazing since this class can swap its armor between wielder if its going bad against someone of other weapons - plus it lets me keep rolling and hitting like you wanted even faster this character doesn't need any armour skills in general while the others are able to have some at lvl 100 for a cheap rate you know. And yes we talked about this already but now just how do people get better. We still need someone (maybe some in their character model) to roll and get a better ability so we'd make new skills better instead of changing items on crafting table for one and changing abilities by level for all others we wanted to do. Just because everything changed doesnt mean its actually possible. For me it was not. You guys probably can try leveling with someone who did. Its possible that we lose one hero before getting to do something that can look on like the original heroes are missing but we also could never do them because the old heroes don't even survive to lvl 75 while those of all 2 classes will already die when getting level 85 or 80 because to survive you have 5 skills. Thats also probably not impossible or will probably come up in the end but in general though its great. We could always add stats (.
